Grassland Advisers International Network is a new initiative to bring together consultants and advisers who work with farmers on ruminant production systems. It is aiming to share expertise, develop wider network and identify new opportunities. It currently has around 50 members from the UK, Ireland, Canada, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand, and covers dairy, beef and sheep.

First GAIN event

Liz did a live online chat with Trevor Cook, who is a vet and livestock system consultant from New Zealand. He spoke about his approach to consultancy and how he has worked with NZ farmers to get them through their recent drought. He highlighted the tools he uses, for example FARMAX.
